As Quincy's Mom, and later as the author of his story, finding the right voice to speak his story was a challenge. I had a decent idea of what he should sound like, but honestly, none of my friends matched that inner voice until....

Chris Woolf was a broadcast journalist with the BBC World Service for 34 years. He worked in London, Afghanistan, Malawi, Mozambique, but mostly in the United States, where he became News Editor for public radio’s main international news show, “The World.” He was on-air for many years as the show’s “History Guy.”
